10. City Palace, Jaipur


City Palace, Jaipur, includes the beautiful Chandra Mahal and the stunning Mubarak Mahal palaces and many other such buildings. It is a palace complex in the oink city of Jaipur, the capital of the state of Rajasthan in India. A must visit for historic lovers.

9. Agra Fort, Agra


The ever so gorgeous Agra Fort is the former princely residence of the Mughal Dynasty and it is located in Agra, India. It is also an UNESCO World Heritage site and is 2.5 km northwest of its  more famous and beautiful sister monument, the great Taj Mahal.

8. Red Fort, Delhi


The Red Fort was the residence of the Mughal emperor for more than 200 years, until the year 1857. The Red Fort is located in the heart of Delhi and it also houses a number of museums which are a must see.

7. Akshardham, Delhi


Akshardham or the Swaminarayan Akshardham complex is a stunning Hindu mandir, and is also a spiritual campus in the capital of India, New Delhi. If you are on a tour of India, this place should be on your list for sure.

6. Qutb Minar, Delhi


Qutb Minar is a monument which is 73 metres. It is the tallest and most stunning brick minaret in the world and is also the second highest minar in the country of India after it’s sister monument Fateh Burj at Punjab, India.

5. Harmandir Sahib, Punjab


Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as Sri Darbar Sahib and informally referred to as the great and beautiful “Golden Temple”, is the holiest Gurdwara of Sikhism. It is located in the gorgeous city of Amritsar, Punjab. Amritsar was founded in the year 1577 by the fourth Sikh guru, Guru Ram Das.

4. Humayun’s tomb, Delhi


Humayun’s tomb is the tomb of the great Mughal Emperor Humayun in the city of New Delhi, India. The tomb was first commissioned by the ruler Humayun’s son, the great Akbar in the year 1569-70. It is designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas who was a Persian architect chosen by Akbar’s wife Bega Begum.

Amer Fort is located in the town of Amer. Amer is a town which has a area of 4 square kilometres and is located 11 kilometres from Jaipur. Located high on a small hill, it is the principal and the most stunning tourist attraction in the pink city of Jaipur.

The Taj Mahal is a beautiful ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the river Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in the year 1632 by the great Mughal emperor and none other than Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favourite and his most loved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
