The said news

Sorry Android users, but you won’t have anything to gloat about after some time. Seems like iPhones are not the only ones who are loosing headphone jacks, but Android is also following it’s trail. HTC is said to release a new phone tomorrow, and it is rumoured that there will be no headphone jack in that. It looks like 2017 is going to be the wireless year!

Here are the rumoured pictures of HTC’s new phone ‘the ocean note’, which is said to have no headphone jacks.

Specifications of the phone

Just as HTC released a new phone ‘Bolt’ last year, with no headphone jack; it is going to do the same this year as well. Following are the specifications of the rumoured ocean note phone:
Screen: 5.7-inch screen
Processor: Snapdragon 821 processor
Internal memory: 64GB of internal storage
Android version: Android 7.0 Nougat
but no headphone jack.

The end of an era

Looks like the other companies are also going to follow suit. Samsung is also rumoured to loose the headphone jack in the next edition of it’s Galaxy S8 which will be releasing this April. Motorola and LeEco have already got rid of the headphone jacks.

With new year, new specifications are coming into play. New headphone jacks are indeed a technological advancement but it also marks the end of an era. RIP headphone jacks, RIP.
