We all remember when Kangana Ranaut was taken down by none other than Karn Johar. She had not spoken anything about the matter yet, but recently she has she spoke up against Karan Johar’s nepotism in such chat shows.
Kangana Ranaut answered Karan Johar at an interview with Mumbai mirror. The actress has given a fitting response to the director cum producer when she was accused of playing the ‘victim card’.
“I use every card possible. At the workplace, it’s the badass card to fight cutthroat competition. With my family and loved ones, it’s the love card. When fighting the world, it’s the dignity card, and for a seat in a bus, it’s the woman card. What is important to understand is that we are not fighting people, we are fighting a mentality. I am not fighting Karan Johar, I am fighting male chauvinism,” the actress said.
When Karan Johar suggested that she leave the industry, the actress said that he was no one to tell her to leave it.
“I am definitely not going anywhere Mr. Johar.” she said.
She also added that the Indian film industry belonged to every India and that it was recommended for outsiders as well.
She also said that since Karan Johar had become a father, he should provide his daughter with the same kind of demeaning attitude he showed to other women.
Karan Johar had also lashed out at Kangaran Ranaut when she commented about the flag bearer of nepotism on his show Koffee with Karan. This was more than two weeks ago and was when he was attending a seminar on cinema at the London School of Economics.
Karan Johar also spoke to a senior journalist and added that Kangana had not understood the true meaning of the word nepotism. He also added that he was fed up of seeing her playing the ‘woman card’ and ‘victim card’ always. He had at last added that if Kangana had so many issues and problems with the industry, she should think about quitting it.
