Blue Whale, a new online gaming challenge, has been reported as it is challenging kids to commit suicide at the final stage of the game. Shocking! isn’t it? It’s actually true. What’s more shocking is that this is said to be originated in Russia and this has caused almost 100 teenage deaths there.
A Whatsapp alert has been in air which reads:
“Any parents out there or anyone that knows of any kids playing an online game called ‘Blue Whale’, please get your kids off this game. It sets them 50 challenges and the last one is to commit suicide.”
Blue Whale is a suicide game in which participants are supposedly assigned a keeper who provides various acts of self harm to be committed over the course of 50 days. These acts start with a few challenges, from watching horror movies to cutting shapes on their skin. Participants are asked to win the game by committing suicide, on the final day. The participants are also asked to send evidence by taking pictures.
This game also hacks the users’s phone and accesses all the details. It is also said that this game cannot be uninstalled or deleted. It the evidence is not sent, it sends number of alerts to the phone until the picture is sent.
This might be a viral hoax. But being on the safe side is always better than risking our beautiful life!
