The target emotion
Dedicating this year’s Eid-ul-Azha to the ”endless sacrifices of Kashmiris”, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has pledged to dedicate all the coming celebrations of Eids to the people of the state of Kashmir till the resolution of dispute in accordance with their wishes.
“On this day of Eid, we cannot forget the sacrifices of the people of Kashmir too. The people of Kashmir, facing the Indian atrocities, have sacrificed their third generation to achieve their right of self-determination,” he said in his message.
“We dedicate this Eid to the endless sacrifices of the people of the state of Kashmir and will continue to dedicate all coming Eids to the Kashmiris till the issue of Kashmir is resolved in accordance with their wishes,” the Prime Minister added in his message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha being observed in the country on Tuesday.
Playing a vey good game, this has resulted in the Kashmiri’s trust being tilted towards the side of Pakistan. He has targeted the emotions of Kashmiris, and by doing so he has hit the sweet spot of the same.
Eid-ul-Azha is a remembrance of the submission of Hazrat Ibrahim Allaih Salam and the obedience and acceptance of Hazrat Ismail Allaih Salam.
He said Eid-ul-Azha was a remembrance of the submission of Hazrat Ibrahim Allaih Salam and the obedience and acceptance of Hazrat Ismail Allaih Salam.
The family of Hazrat Ibrahim sacrificed every worldly relation for the pleasure of their Cherisher and preferred the will of Allah Almighty on every occasion, he said, adding its peak point was the sacrificial of son.
“Allah Almighty accepted this act of father and son in a way that it was made part of Hajj rituals and the Muslim society was made obliged to keep this tradition alive,” he added.
“Pakistan, today, with the grace and blessings of Allah Almighty, has been put on the path of prosperity. We have to take it to its destination,” he added.
He, however, said,”Today, we have a question before us, as if we can sacrifice our ego and interests for the sake of Pakistan? On the occasion of this Eid, we have to give a message of unity to the whole nation. By keeping the tradition of Hazrat Ibrahim, we have to sacrifice for others.”
The Prime Minister extended hearty felicitations to all the Muslims residing in Pakistan and in the whole world, particularly, the Kashmiri people and thanked Allah Almighty, Who once again blessed them with this felicitous occasion.
He prayed that the nation continued to embrace such happy occasions in their lives repeatedly.
“I pray that Allah Almighty bless all of us with real pleasures of Eid-ul-Azha and enable us to understand and perform this great reverence of sacrifice in its true spirit. Ameen!,” the Prime Minister added.
Keeping all the political afflictions aside, we wish all our dear friends a very happy Eid. May Allah bestow you with his blessings!
