After long waiting the first smartphones with the Google project’s Tango is here. The Lenovo Phab 2 is now finally out and available for purchasing. The Lenovo Phab 2 was supposed to hit the online sales in August, but then it did make the cut; just that in September. However because of some technical difficulties the phone hit the online stores in the month of November. The Lenovo Phab 2 is now out and you can buy the phone via Lenovo’s website which is priced at Rs 33,300.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is the first Google projects’s Tango smartphone, the first commercial product from the team of Google’s Project Tango. The Lenovo Phab 2 has a sensor and a camera setup which enables motion tracking, depth perception, as well as area learning. The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro also makes use of the Tango technology to give many applications new augmented reality capabilities. The very basic idea behind the Google’s Project Tango is to give the smartphones and tablets which are made under them, a set of ‘eyes’ capable of understanding the depth perception, just like our eyes can do.┬áThe rear camera also has depth-sensing infrared capabilities with an imager and an emitter, as well as a motion tracking camera and sensor.
