The rock solid 25-year-old friendship of Kajol and Karan Johar has come to an end. And, guess what? All of this happened over a one-word tweet.
Wondering how? Remember the clash of the two films Ajay Devgan starrer Shivaay and Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil back in November? Well, it is exactly not how you think.
Here’s the full story:
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil went on to do a remarkable job at the box office. However, Shivaay did not match up to the benchmark of ADHM. Now, if this wasn’t all, here comes our Superhero KRK.
Kamaal R. Khan, who is known as a film critic went on to praise Karan Johar’s film ever since its trailer was released while he criticised Shivaay. In a telephonic conversation, he allegedly claimed that he has received a whopping sum of Rs. 25 lakh by Karan Johar to praise the film.
When this news broke out, Ajay Devgan did not stay back and shared the telephonic tape on his twitter account. His wife, Kajol outrageously went on to share the tweet made by him with the comment ‘Shocked’.
How do you think did Karan Johar take it? Well, here’s what he wrote in his upcoming book ‘An Unsuitable Boy’,
“Prior to the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, there’s a lot that happened. Things were said, crazy accusations were made against me, that I had bribed someone to sabotage her husband’s film. I can’t even say that I was hurt or pained by it. I just wanted to blank it out.
“When she reacted to the whole situation, and put out a tweet saying, ‘Shocked!’ that’s when I knew it was completely over for me. The tweet validated the insanity, that she could believe I would bribe someone. I felt that’s it. It’s over. And she can never come back to my life. I don’t think she wants to either.”
The leaked image of the script in the book is as follows:
Karan Johar, as we all know is a sensitive man and later said that the end of this friendship still hurts him and bothers him even more as they share some common friends.
“I wouldn’t want to give a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for twenty-five years. I don’t think she deserves me. I feel nothing for her anymore…”
Ouch! This is so sad. And, no this is not the end of the story here. Guess what? Ajay Devgan has acclaimed that such remarks are nothing but a publicity stunt by Karan Johar prior to the release of his book.
