The clock has struck 12 and all the money with the denominations of 500 and 1000 has already become redundant. This immediate step has been armored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in order to scrap out the practice of black money.
While addressing the nation on the television the Prime Minister said: “India has taken a historic step to fight corruption, black money, terrorism and counterfeit currency.”
Although many people are approving and welcoming the bold step, it has led to trouble too, given that the ATMs will not be functioning for the two days. However, every rebellious change brings some troubles with it, so we have to take it in an optimistic way.
